Visas & Accommodation

Visa application

Please read the following information before making any travel plans:

  • Delegates are responsible for ensuring appropriate visas are obtained for attending the conference.
  • Be sure to check the travel restrictions to Greece on the website of the Hellenic Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
  • Plan ahead and schedule a time to submit your visa application materials several months before your intended departure.
  • You must apply for your visa as soon as you are confident that you will attend MedGU-25 in Athens (in some countries, this process can take up to 3 months).
  • You will need an invitation letter for your visa application. To receive the letter, you must first register and pay online (see Registration).
  • For security reasons, letters of invitation can only be sent to delegates who have registered and paid for the conference.
  • Further information on the application process can be found on VFS Global website.
  • During your stay in Greece, you are advised to have suitable insurance coverage for emergency medical or other needs.
  • Should you have any questions for obtaining visa letter for MedGU-25, please email us at contact@medgu.org.
