Icebreaker ⁺

The MedGU-25 Organizing Committee cordially invites all participants to the Conference Icebreaker, an informal gathering that marks the start of our event. It will take place at the "University History Museum" (under the Acropolis) on November 10, 2025 at 20:00 (Athens Local Time, see Program). This is an excellent opportunity for all participants to meet fellow attendees, establish new connections, socialize, and enjoy a relaxed evening together.

Gala Dinner ⁺⁺

The MedGU Gala Dinner is one of the highlights of the conference and an event not to be missed. This year, it will take place on Wednesday, November 12^th, at 20:00 (see Program). Participants are invited to enjoy an evening of authentic Mediterranean cuisine and live music at the Royal Olympic Hotel, a distinguished five-star, family-run establishment located in the heart of Athens. The hotel offers magnificent views of the Temple of Zeus, the Acropolis, Hadrian’s Gate, and the Marble Stadium, while the National Garden lies just opposite. The charming Plaka (Old Town) is only steps away, and the hotel is conveniently connected to the Underground, Bus, and Tram networks—placing guests at the very centre of historical Athens. The Gala Dinner will be held at the hotel’s Roof Garden Restaurant & Bar, which provides an exceptional dining experience overlooking one of the most spectacular panoramas in the city. The Royal Olympic’s renowned chef will guide guests through the refined flavours and traditions of Greek cuisine, ensuring an unforgettable evening of culture, gastronomy, and collegial networking.
